Self control and bad habits

Hi guys,


Do you face problems in getting rid of bad habits? Do you face problems in controlling your urges? Are you someone who has poor self-control?


Don't worry. We, humans, tend to lack self-control but you know what by the right methods and practices we can have self-control.


First, change your environment. Can rid of distractions. Be it certain apps, you have to delete them. Or, maybe certain people you have to get rid of from your lives.


Second, make sure that you are making it as hard as possible to do bad habits. You can easily do so by making it really difficult to do those things. 


If you just do these things, you can easily become good at self-control as a beginner.


Later on, you have to build good habits and practices and make the bad habits unattractable.


Always remember things which are good in the SHORT TERM are not good in the LONG TERM,


Never go after instant gratification rather go after delayed gratification.


So, next time, when you have to buy something, go to a market if you have time and bargain and go to various shops before making a purchase decision. (This is the best way, one can learn delayed gratification as well as learn bargaining)
